What is Paw Budget?
+Paw Budget is a web-based pet expense tracker that helps pet owners log, organize, and understand their spending across all pet types — dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and exotic animals. Track vet bills, food, medications, insurance, grooming, and more in one place.
Is Paw Budget free to use?
+Yes. The free plan includes tracking for up to 2 pets and 20 expenses per month, plus dashboard charts, daily horoscopes, and the basic name generator. No credit card is required to start. Premium unlocks unlimited pets, unlimited expenses, and advanced features for $4.99/month — with a 3-day free trial.
What does the Premium plan include?
+Premium members get unlimited pets and expenses, full AI budget summaries, weekly extended horoscopes, all name generator themes (Classic, Funny, Royal, Food), the local pet shop finder, and expert vet advice guidance. The plan is $4.99/month and can be cancelled at any time.
How does the 3-day free trial work?
+When you start a Premium subscription, you get 3 days of full Premium access at no charge. You can cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. After 3 days, your card is billed $4.99/month on a recurring basis until you cancel.
How do I cancel my subscription?
+Cancellation is simple and immediate. Go to Settings in the navigation menu, find the Subscription section, and click Cancel Subscription. Your account reverts to the free plan right away. You will not be charged again. No phone calls, no hoops to jump through.
Can I cancel during the free trial?
+Yes — cancel any time during the 3-day trial from your Settings page and you will not be charged a single cent. Your Premium access remains active until the trial period ends.
What pets can I track?
+All pet types are supported: dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits), and exotic animals. Each pet has its own profile where you can track expenses, birthday, gender, and more.
How do I add a new expense?
+Navigate to the Expenses page and click Add Expense. Select the pet, enter the amount, choose a category (Food, Vet, Medications, etc.), and add an optional note. Expenses appear on your dashboard with spending charts updated automatically.
Does Paw Budget work on mobile?
+Yes. Paw Budget is fully responsive and works on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop. It can also be added to your home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for an app-like experience on both Android and iOS.
What is the pet shop finder?
+Premium members can use the Shop page to search for real local pet businesses near any zip code — including pet stores, vets, groomers, and boarding facilities. Results are powered by OpenStreetMap and show address, phone, website, and distance.
Is my payment information secure?
+Yes. Paw Budget uses Stripe for all payment processing — one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world. We never store your credit card number, CVV, or banking information on our servers. All transactions are encrypted end-to-end.
How do I delete my account?
+Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger Zone section. Click Delete My Account and confirm. This permanently removes all your data, pets, expenses, and cancels any active subscription. This action cannot be undone.
How do I contact support?
+Use the Contact Support form. Fill in your name, email, and message and our team will respond as quickly as possible. We aim to reply within 24–48 hours on business days.
